Our journey began in 1989
when the visionary entrepreneur Maria do Carmo Vargas Souza embarked on a culinary adventure that would captivate taste buds and hearts alike. Leaving behind her beloved Salvador, Bahia, Maria set out to share the soulful essence of Bahian cuisine with the world, and thus, Little Piece of Bahia was born.
